Seminole County, Florida - Market Update For February 2008: What's Selling?

Click the picture below for information on this fantastic Seminole County home for sale...

Welcome to my monthly market update for Seminole County.  This is a brief report on what's selling in Seminole County, Florida for the month of February, 2008.

As of today there are 4,843 homes on the market...  4,118 homes were sold in Seminole County over the past 12 months.  We continue to have over a 12 month supply of homes, this has been consistent for several months.

208 homes sold in February, even with the shorter month we had an increase over the 187 homes that were sold in January, which is a good sign.  There are currently 461 under contract, which is very encouraging to see that sales actually increased in February and the rise in homes with contracts pending could be an early indicator that we are going to start to see more buyers venture back into the market.

Good-looking house in Apopka.  AND, isn't it nice that FHA loan limits can now cover it!  :)  $353,750.  Woo hoo!  That's going to open up a lot of homes to people with little/no downpayment.

Hey Debbie good looking blog, love that house. Keep them coming. Also I must agree with Lisa so happy the limits have come up on FHA loans.

Lisa - The FHA increases are helping out so many buyers...  I'm working with a family now that will be purchasing a home with little money out of their own pockets.

Heather - Thanks for the compliment...  I agree with you both about FHA it's great!
