It's Love Bug Season: Don't Hate Them... Wipe Them Out For Good!

 bounce

It's that time of year, the dreaded love bugs are back!

Love bugs can eat right through your car's clear coat and paint.

Last year a friend of ours told us the secret to getting the little buggers off the front of our cars and I almost didn't believe it because it seemed so simple.

Dryer Sheets...

Get a dryer sheet wet and the remains of our little friends that we love to hate, just wipe away like nothing.  It's easy, quick and inexpensive and your car's paint will thank you.

I hope that this little bit of advice is helpful...

We once lived in Winter Park, FL. where we learned about Love Bugs, ugh. They are just nasty. We will let our friends know about the dryer sheets. Thanks!

Hey Debbie, That is a great tip!  I've got some of those little critters stuck to the front of my car right now.  I would assume that most other brands work well too, right?  I sneeze with bounce

I never knew that about the dryer sheets?  Good advice.  I use them in my pockets when I am outdoors to keep the mosquitos away - seems to help!  Dryer sheets, who knew?

Patty & Scott -  Winter Park is fabulous...  Vancouver, WA is such a departure...  You have to tell your friends who live in Florida that dryer sheets aren't just for laundry anymore.

Sara - The brand doesn't matter, I used some today that were "generic"...

Konnie - You have to be really careful with those scrapers, I'm so scared that I'm going to ruin something.

Audrey- Seriously, they keep mosquitos away?  Now I'm going to be keeping them in my pockets too.

LaShawn - With a car like yours you need extra dryer sheets!
