This week there were 9 single family home sales in Sanford. The most notable sale was in Buckingham Estates in the Markham Woods Corridor. 6209 Hedgesparrows Lane was on the market for 11 days, considerable less time than the average 120 market days that most Seminole County homes sell in. This home was not a short sale or foreclosure, it was a "standard" sale. What I find most interesting about this home is that there are less expensive homes with the same square footage for sale in Buckingham Estates, but the quality and condition of this home was appreciated by a buyer who realized that there is more to a good deal than a "lower" price.
